| Welcome to the HP of the section of Cognition and Learning, PRI.
The section aims to conduct research on cognition and learning in primates (including humans) through behavioral and brain aspects, using variable methods such as laboratory experimentation and field observation. The research with nonhuman primates focuses on how genetic and environmental components contribute for the development of variable behaviors such as communicative one. The investigations about the origins of languages and relating issues are also undertaken. Human studies include cognitive characteristics of children with developmental disorders as well as development of intervention with the children. |
